Creative project manager
Project Management, Design & Multicultural Communications
I'm a project manager with a strong creative mindset: a Multimedia Designer, PMI Agile-certified professional, Scrum Master, with experience in localisation, advertising and marketing.
I love taking ownership of the projects I manage bringing structure, keeping people aligned and making sure things move forward. But whenever I get the opportunity, I also love being part of the creative conversation.
How it all connects
-
While studying Multimedia Design, I joined a technology consultancy and unexpectedly found myself falling in love with project management.
Over time, I learned how to manage both predictive and Agile projects, negotiate with stakeholders and external suppliers, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and turn complex requirements into clear plans.
By the time I graduated, I had already spent three years managing projects for an international bank in Latin America — and yes, I'm originally from Argentina.
That was when something clicked: my interest in project management didn't have to exist separately from my passion for communication, design and creativity.
I could bring both together.
-
By 2023, I had spent five years managing IT projects full-time while also taking on freelance work across marketing, design and creative projects.
Eventually, I decided I wanted something more challenging — personally as much as professionally.
So, in September 2023, I moved to Australia.
For several months, I worked in housekeeping across remote mining sites. It may look like an unusual chapter in a creative project manager's story — and it was. But it taught me things a desk never could.
I learned to adapt quickly, manage time in an intensely physical environment, work alongside people from completely different backgrounds and understand customer service from an entirely new perspective.
It also gave me the opportunity to do something else I love: travel and experience life outside my comfort zone.
But I never stepped away from my professional goals.
Along the way, I continued building my career: earning further Agile project management credentials, studying localisation, and taking on freelance work across design, project management and transcreation — adapting messages across languages and cultures without losing the idea behind them.
Australia didn't replace my previous career.
It added another layer to it.
-
I bring the combination of someone who understands how creative work is made and how to get it delivered.
I can take a brief and turn it into a structured project. I can coordinate designers, developers, copywriters, clients and external partners. I can manage timelines, priorities, risks and moving pieces while keeping stakeholders informed and the team focused on the bigger picture.
My design background means I can speak the language of creative teams rather than simply manage them from the outside.
My experience in technology taught me structure, problem-solving and stakeholder management.
My work in localisation and transcreation taught me to think about audiences, culture and the nuances behind a message.
And moving across industries, countries and working environments taught me how to adapt fast, communicate with very different people and stay calm when things don't go exactly to plan.
That's the perspective I bring to an agency:
project thinking, creative understanding and a genuinely international point of view.
Selected work
From brief to delivery, here are a few projects I’ve helped bring to life.
Santander
IT Project Management · Banking · Scrum master
Through a technology consultancy, I managed projects for Santander in Latin America across both Agile and predictive environments.
My work included coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing priorities and timelines, tracking risks and dependencies, preparing estimates and resource plans, and keeping client stakeholders informed throughout delivery.
Key projects included Oracle database upgrades, application development initiatives, and the implementation of cybersecurity controls to meet compliance requirements
This experience strengthened my skills in:
Project ownership — taking responsibility for delivery from planning through execution.
Stakeholder management — communicating clearly with clients, technical teams and external providers.
Team coordination — aligning people with different roles, priorities and areas of expertise.
Risk & delivery management — identifying blockers early and keeping projects moving.
Structured communication — turning complex project information into clear updates, plans and next steps.
It became the foundation of how I manage projects today: with structure, accountability and a strong focus on communication.
Típica Digital
Freelance Project Management · Marketing · Web Design
As a freelance Project Manager, my role included translating client briefs into project scopes and deliverables, building timelines and milestones, coordinating resources and dependencies, running project follow-ups and WIPs, managing feedback and approval rounds, and keeping stakeholders aligned through to launch.
Across web and marketing projects, I coordinated creative production, content requirements and technical handoffs while monitoring priorities, risks and changes in scope.
This experience strengthened my skills in:
Brief-to-delivery management — turning client requirements into clear scopes, timelines, milestones and deliverables.
Creative production coordination — managing design, content and web workstreams while keeping dependencies and approvals moving.
Client & stakeholder management — leading status updates, managing expectations and translating feedback into actionable next steps.
Workflow & priority management — tracking WIPs, deadlines, blockers and changing priorities across multiple contributors.
Web project delivery — coordinating design, content, development, review, QA and launch stages.
Creative–technical collaboration — using my design background to communicate effectively across both creative and technical teams.
Transcreation & Cultural Adaptation
Think HQ - Emmen8 · Multicultural Communication · Spanish Localisation
One project I worked on with Think HQ involved adapting a three-minute campaign video about post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) for Spanish-speaking LGBTIQ audiences.
The challenge was not simply translating the script into Spanish. The message needed to feel natural, culturally relevant and appropriate for the audience while preserving the campaign’s original intent, tone and clarity.
My role involved adapting language, expressions and tone to make the content resonate more authentically with Spanish-speaking LGBTIQ communities, while ensuring the health message remained clear and accurate.
This project strengthened my skills in:
Transcreation — adapting meaning, tone and intent rather than translating word-for-word.
Audience awareness — considering how language, humour, references and tone may be received by a specific community.
Cultural adaptation — reshaping messaging so it feels locally relevant without losing the original campaign objective.
Brand & message consistency — preserving the core communication goal while adapting how it is expressed.
Creative judgement — balancing accuracy, sensitivity and natural language in a highly audience-specific piece of communication.
It reinforced the importance of understanding not only what a message says, but who it is speaking to and how it needs to land.
Web Design & Optimisation
Independent Journalist · Website UX · Navigation & Content Structure
I worked with an independent journalist to redesign and optimise her website, with a focus on improving navigation, content hierarchy and the overall user experience.
The project involved reviewing how readers moved through the site, reorganising information, simplifying navigation and creating a clearer structure around her work, profile and published content.
My role combined design thinking with practical UX decisions to make the website easier to understand, explore and maintain.
What I worked on: Information architecture · Navigation · UX improvements · Content hierarchy · Web design · Responsive structure
A little extra — Bringing an event to life
Paint & Sip Workshop · Event Planning · In Development
UPCOMING PROJECT 2026
I’m currently co-organising an independent Paint & Sip workshop in Perth, taking the project from initial concept through to event delivery.
The project involves shaping the event concept, defining the audience and experience, coordinating logistics, developing promotional content and planning the customer journey from discovery and booking through to the event itself.
For me, it’s also an opportunity to apply project management outside a traditional work environment — bringing together creative direction, marketing, logistics and customer experience around one idea.
Currently working on: Event concept · Planning & timelines · Promotion · Social content · Customer journey · Event logistics
A Global Perspective
Living and working across different countries has shaped the way I approach communication, collaboration and problem-solving.
Being exposed to different cultures, languages and working styles has made me more adaptable and more aware of how context can change the way a message is understood.
That perspective naturally influences the way I work — whether I’m collaborating with a team, managing stakeholders or adapting communication for a specific audience.
I value environments where different perspectives come together, because they usually lead to better questions, stronger ideas and more thoughtful work.
